Location 

The driver sidebag with the driver sidebag squib is installed on the side in the driver seat backrest, and the front passenger sidebag with the front passenger sidebag squib is installed on the side in the front passenger seat backrest.

Task 

The sidebag protects the driver or front passenger from upper body and head injuries in the event of a side-impact collision affecting the door and B-pillar areas.
