Location 

The windowbag is installed along the left and right roof frame below the headliner. The associated squib is accommodated in each case behind the cover at the left and right A-pillar.

Task 

The windowbag protects the head area from glass splinters and penetrating objects and reduces the head acceleration forces that occur.
