The internal speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n2) records the internal transmission speed at the ring gear of the front single planetary gear system for the fully integrated transmission control (VGS).
Together with the information from the turbine speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n1) and from the output speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n3) this RPM is processed as an input signal by the fully integrated transmission control unit (VGS) (Y3/8n4). This contributes to shortening the reaction time during shift operations.
