	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003W
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105W
3	Remove shield (1)
4	Detach contact protection on circuit 30 electrical line (2)
5	Disconnect electrical line of circuit 30 (2) at starter (M1)		*BA15.30-P-1001-01J
6	Disconnect electrical line of circuit 50 (3) at starter (M1)		*BA15.30-P-1002-01J
7	Remove starter (M1) on cylinder crankcase		*BA15.30-P-1003-01J
8	Remove starter (M1) from below
	Checking
9	Check starter ring gear on driven plate for wear and damage	If required, continue turning engine at center bolt on the crankshaft in direction of rotation of the engine.
