1	Remove upper engine cover
	Removal of knock sensor 2 (A16/2) (model 166) or knock sensor for cylinder 1+2 (A16/4) (model 172)
2	Remove firewall cover on the left	Engine 651 in model 172
3	Detach exhaust gas recirculation cooler and place with attached coolant lines to one side		AR14.20-P-7665CD
4	Place power steering pump with attached coolant lines to one side	Engine 651 in model 172

6	Release and disconnect electrical connection (3)
7	Release and disconnect electrical connection (4)
8	Detach clamping devices (5) with electrical wiring harness from exhaust gas recirculation cooler holder (2)
9	Remove screw/bolt (1) and remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler holder (2)	Bolt, exhaust heat exchanger support to oil filter module	*BA14.20-P-1017-01K
10	Remove screw/bolt (6) and remove knock sensor 2 (A16/2) (model 166) or knock sensor for cylinder 1+2 (A16/4) (model 172)	Bolt, knock sensor to cylinder crankcase	*BA15.10-P-1001-02E
	Removal of knock sensor 1 (A16/1) (model 166) or knock sensor for cylinder 3+4 (A16/1) (model 172)

12	Release and disconnect electrical connection (7)
13	Release and disconnect electrical connection (8)
14	Remove screw/bolt (9) and remove knock sensor (A16/1) (model 166) or knock sensor for cylinder 3+4 (A16/1) (model 172)	Bolt, knock sensor to cylinder crankcase	*BA15.10-P-1001-02E
15	Install in the reverse order
