General

The sound generators emit a warning tone in electric mode as a warning to other road users.

Location

The front sound generator (1) is located in the vehicle at the front right on the underside of the engine compartment. The rear sound generator (2) is located in the rear area on the underbody.

Function requirements

Function

Depending on the speed and accelerator pedal position, the sound generators (1, 2) generate an audio signal between 0 and 30 km/h. At speeds greater than 30 km/h, the sound generators (1, 2) are deactivated, as the rolling and wind noises are loud enough for a perception of the vehicle.
