Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 3.1	Remove front engine cover (1)	Engine 276.9 in model 166, 251
3.2	Remove upper engine cover	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 251, 292
4.1	Remove engine air intake duct (2) and air filter housing (3)	Engine 276.9 in model 166, 251
		Bolt, air filter to cylinder head cover	*BA09.10-P-1001-01M
		Bolt, air filter to air intake pipe support brace	*BA09.10-P-1002-01M
4.2	Remove engine air intake duct (2) on the right and left upstream of air filter housing	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 251, 292

8.1	Open electrical line holder on alternator (G2) and remove electrical line on alternator (G2)	Engine 276.9 in model 166, 251
8.2	Unfasten Active Roll Stabilization expansion reservoir	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 292 with code 468 (ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM)
9	Unfasten boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y31/5) with attached lines and place lines to one side	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 251, 292

10	Disconnect coolant hose (8) from coolant hose connection (10)	Engine 276.8 in model 251	AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
11	Remove screw/bolt (9) from coolant hose connection (10)	Engine 276.8 in model 251
12	Remove screw/bolts (5) for alternator (G2)	Bolt, alternator to timing case	*BA15.40-P-1001-01F
13	Remove ground lines (11)	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 251 The ground line (11) is fastened with the screw/bolts (5) of the alternator (G2).
14	Remove charge air pipe bracket (12)	Engine 276.8 in model 166, 251, 292 The charge air pipe bracket (12) is fastened with the screw/bolt (5) of alternator (G2).
15	Set alternator (G2) aside
16	Disconnect electrical connection (6) at alternator (G2)
17	Take alternator (G2) upwards and out
18	Install in the reverse order
