  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Detach battery ground line Engine 176 in model 463
up to model year 2019
Engine 176 in model 463 (except 463.234)
as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019		 AR54.10-P-0003GW
2 Remove left headlamp trim Engine 176 in model 463 (except 463.242) as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019 AR82.10-P-4730GW
3 Remove right headlamp trim Engine 176 in model 463 (except 463.242) as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019 AR82.10-P-4730GW
4 Remove screw/bolts (1) on radiator trim (2)    
5 Unclip hose of the washer system at radiator trim (2) and remove radiator trim (2)    
6 Remove screw/bolt (5) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Nut/bolt, front end bearing between support and main frame		 *BA62.30-P-1003-01J 
7 Remove bolts (6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Screw/bolt, front crossmember (bottom) to support		 *BA62.30-P-1002-01J 
8 Remove screws (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, front crossmember (top) to wheel well *BA62.30-P-1001-01J 
9 Unscrew screw/bolt (7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Screw/bolt, front crossmember (top) to wheel well		 *BA62.30-P-1001-01J 
10 Remove bolts (4)    
11 Remove front right complete wheel    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AP40.10-P-4050G
12 Remove poly-V belt (8) at alternator (9)   AR13.22-P-0003MNA
13 Unclip coolant hose on cover panel (10) and remove cover panel (10)    
14 Detach electrical wiring harness on alternator (9)   AR15.40-P-5032-01MNA 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Nut, positive line to alternator		 *BA15.40-P-1003-01T 
15 Remove drift on the clamping device of poly-V belt (8) of the alternator    
16 Remove screws/bolts (11) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Bolt, alternator to alternator bracket		 *BA15.40-P-1001-01T 
17 Press right wheel well paneling to the side and remove alternator (9)    
18 Install in the reverse order
