| 3 | Remove oil line (6) from engine, oil pan, and left engine carrier, place to one side, and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | ||

| 4 | Release and disconnect the electrical connector for knock sensor 3 (A16/3) at the separating point (8). | ||
| 5 | Remove screw (7) and remove knock sensor 3 (A16/3) toward the front. | The contact surfaces must be free from soiling. Otherwise, knock sensor 3 will malfunction (A16/3). |
