| 3 | Remove the oil line (5) from the engine, oil pan and left engine carrier, place to one side and seal openings with protective covers and suitable stop plugs. | Installation: Install new sealing rings. |

| 4 | Release and disconnect the electrical connector for the knock sensor 3 (A16/3) at the separating point (6). | ||
| 5 | Unscrew the screw (4) and remove the knock sensor 3 (A16/3) in a forward direction. | Otherwise, knock sensor 3 (A16/3) will malfunction. |
