	Remove/install
1	Drain engine oil.
			AP18.00-P-0101GDD
		: Only install lower engine compartment linings after engine test run.
2	Remove the A/C compressor (A9).		AR83.55-P-5310XGC
3	Remove the oil line (5) from the engine, oil pan and left engine carrier, place to one side and seal openings with protective covers and suitable stop plugs.	Installation: Install new sealing rings.
		Bolt, oil line to oil pan/crankcase/engine support	*BA01.45-P-1001-01Y

4	Release and disconnect the electrical connector for the knock sensor 3 (A16/3) at the separating point (6).
5	Unscrew the screw (4) and remove the knock sensor 3 (A16/3) in a forward direction.	: The contact surfaces must be free from soiling. Otherwise, knock sensor 3 (A16/3) will malfunction.
		Bolt, knock sensor to crankcase	*BA15.10-P-1001-02G
6	Install in the reverse order.
7	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.
9	Install lower engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105XG
