| 3 | Disconnect coolant hose (3). | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Remove coolant hose (3) from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir and place to one side. | AR09.41-P-0001XGC | |

| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at coolant temperature sensor (B11/4). | ||
| 8 | Unscrew bolt (4). | *BA07.04-P-1002-01Q | |
| 9 | Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) with retaining plate (5) in upward direction. | ||
| 10 | Remove retaining plate (5) from coolant temperature sensor (B11/4). | When replacing the coolant temperature sensor (B11/4). | |
| 11 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 12 | Perform ventilation routine of engine management control unit (MCM). | ||
