Remove/Install Fuel Differential Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0025MFC

WARNING Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove bottom engine compartment lining. Engine 260 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M016 (Uprated engine) AR61.20-P-1105MFR

INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install lower engine compartment paneling after leak test.

2 Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).    
3 Remove nut (3).    
4 Remove nut (1).    
5 Open clamps (5), remove molded hoses (4) from pressure lines and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. NOTES
Only open clamps (5) at pressure lines.
Due to the opening of the clamps at the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3), a hairline crack and thus malfunctions occur at the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install molded hoses (4) free of tension.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace clamps (5).

    SPECIAL TOOL Hose clamp pliers Fig 2
6 Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) from bracket and remove with connected molded hoses (4).    
7 Install in the reverse order.    
8 Read out and delete fault memory.    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Perform an engine test run; check engine for proper operation and check exhaust system for leak tightness.    
10 Install lower engine compartment lining. Engine 260 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M016 (Uprated engine) AR61.20-P-1105MFR
