	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove Mercedes star.		AR88.40-P-4053ME
3	Unclip Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1).
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector o Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1).
5	Install in the reverse order.
6	Perform the commissioning of the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1).	If the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1) has been replaced.

	Calibrate
7	Perform calibration on Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1) using diagnostic system.
		Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A108/1) must also be calibrated if only bumper or radiator grille were removed.	AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
