| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left air filter housing. | AR09.10-P-1151MNO | |
| 2 | Remove cover (1). | ||
| 3 | Remove screw (2) and place cable duct (4) to one side. | *BA15.18-P-1001-01G | |
| 4 | Remove the electrical connector (3), unlock and disconnect it. | ||
| 5 | Remove the bracket (5) from the cylinder head cover. | ||
| 6 | Remove bottom Engine compartment paneling. | AR61.20-P-1105ME | |
| 7 | Unscrew screw (7) and remove knock sensor 4 (A16/4) downward. | The contact surface must be free from soiling. Otherwise, knock sensor 4 will malfunction (A16/4). |

| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
