	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.

2	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter.	Dismantling tool	Fig 4
3	Remove oil filter element and seal opening with suitable protective cover.

4	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).
5	Unscrew screw (1) and remove knock sensor (A16/2).	Bolt, knock sensor to crankcase	*BA15.10-P-1001-02B
	Clean
6	Clean contact surfaces between knock sensor (A16/2) and crankcase.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
7	Install in the reverse order.

8	Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary.

	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 9	Conduct engine test run while checking for proper operation of the engine.
