	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove nuts (1).	Ensure that the electric lines are not located under the accelerator pedal module (A68) and are not pinched. Otherwise, the electric lines will be damaged. Nut, accelerator pedal to firewall	*BA30.20-P-1001-03F
3	Take off accelerator pedal module (A68) and place to one side.	Do not crush or kink electric lines or place them under tension. Otherwise, the electric lines will be damaged.
4	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).	Model 223 with code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV)) An additional electrical connector is installed.
5	Remove accelerator pedal module (A68) from vehicle.	Do not disassemble accelerator pedal module (A68). The accelerator pedal module (A68) will otherwise be damaged and must be replaced.
6	Install in the reverse order.
