| 3 | Unscrew nuts (3, 5) and remove electric lines (1, 2) from starter (M1). | *BA15.30-N-1002-01W | |
| 4 | Unscrew screw/bolts (4). | *BA15.30-N-1001-01W | |
| 5 | Remove starter (M1) downward. | ||
| Check | |||
| 6 | Check pinion of the starter (M1) for damage and wear. | If the starter (M1) is reused. If wear or damage is detected: ↓ Replace starter (M1). |

If wear or damage is detected: ↓ Replace flywheel/drive plate. |
