Remove/Install Differential Pressure Sensor - Ar07.04-D-0025TSV

Engine 642 in model 907

WARNING Risk of injury.  Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
WARNING Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and respiratory protection. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
  Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.    
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Disconnect electrical connection (1)    
2 Loosen nut (2) by several revolutions TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA00.10-N-1002-01A 
3 Unscrew nut (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket *BA07.04-N-1008-02TSV 
4 Remove differential pressure sensor (4) NOTES
Do not remove hoses (5) from differential pressure sensor (4).
Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise.
IMPORTANT To do this, remove pressure hoses (5) from lines (6) of the diesel particulate filter.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Observe assignment of the pressure hoses (5); install new clamps.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps Fig 1
5 Install new pressure hoses (5) If differential pressure sensor (4) is being replaced.  
6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Connect vehicle diagnosis system, clear fault memory, and perform initialization of the differential pressure sensor (4) If differential pressure sensor (4) is being replaced.  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit   AD00.00-D-2000-06TS
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.
 
Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Check for leak tightness with engine running IMPORTANT Visual inspection only.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION HEADLESS SCREWS/BOLTS: SCREWS/BOLTS AND NUTS, COARSE-PITCH THREAD
