Remove/Install High-Pressure Line To Fuel Injector - Ar07.16-D-1003TSV

Engine 642 in model 907

  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel Igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove trim of respective cylinder head cover.   AR01.20-D-5017TSV
      AR01.20-D-5018TSV
2 Remove leak oil line (1) from fuel injector and place outside working area.   AR07.03-D-9110TSV 
3 Remove holder (2). If high-pressure line (4) of cylinder 6 is removed.  
  Firing order   AH01.00-N-0100-02P
    IMPORTANT To do this, remove screws/bolts (3).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, rail to cylinder head *BA07.16-N-1012-03TSV 
4 Remove high-pressure line (4).    
  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process   AH00.00-P-0020-01A
  Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths   AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
    INSTALLATION NOTES :
Slightly screw union nuts of high-pressure line (4) by hand onto fuel injector and rail. Then tighten to torque and tightening angle.
Tension can otherwise arise at high-pressure line (4).
IMPORTANT Seal connections at fuel injector and rail.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check sealing cones of high-pressure line (4) for damage.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Union nut, high-pressure line for fuel injector to fuel injector *BA07.16-N-1005-03TSV 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Union nut, high-pressure line for fuel injector to rail *BA07.16-N-1006-03TSV 
    SPECIAL TOOL Open wrench insert, (18 mm) Fig 1
    SPECIAL TOOL Box wrench bit Fig 2
    SPECIAL TOOL Record plug
Depending on the findings,

replace high-pressure line (4).

5 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting.
Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by fuel spraying out at high pressure
Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area. Do not carry out any work on system when it is pressurized. AS07.16-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
6 Check leak tightness in visible area when the engine is running. IMPORTANT Visual inspection only.
