| 3 | Remove lower engine compartment lining. | If installed. | AR61.20-D-1105TS |
| 4 | Release tension on poly-V-belt and remove from alternator belt pulley (1). | AR13.22-D-3902-05TSV | |
| Pin for locking poly-V belt tensioning device | WF58.50-S-1325-02S | ||
| Check | |||
| 5 | Check poly-V-belt for wear and damage. | Depending on the findings, ↓ replace poly-V belt. Remove/install poly-V belt |

| 8 | Disconnect electrical connection (4). | ||

| 10 | Remove upper screws (6) and remove alternator (1). | *BA15.40-N-1002-01TSV | |

| 11 | Check contact surface and freewheel of belt pulley for damage. | Depending on the findings, ↓ Replace alternator belt pulley (1). Remove/install alternator belt pulley |
