| 1 | Bring coolant temperature to approx. 80 °C. | ||
| 2 | Switch off engine. | ||

| 4 | Separate electrical connection (1). | ||
| 5 | Open clips (2) and place fuel filter (3) with connected fuel lines to one side. | ||
| 6 | Unclip coolant hose (4) from the cable duct (5). | ||

| 8 | Disconnect electrical connectors (7) of glow plugs (R9/1, R9/2, R9/3, R9/4). | Fig 1 | |

| If glow plugs (R9/1, R9/2, R9/3, R9/4) are reused, ↓ when installing glow plugs (R9/1, R9/2, R9/3, R9/4), install according to the applied marking. If glow plugs (R9/1, R9/2, R9/3, R9/4) break off ↓ Drill out corresponding glow plugs (R9/1, R9/2, R9/3, R9/4). |
