Remove/Install Fuel Pump And Fill Level Sensor - Ar47.20-D-7000TSF

Model 907 with engine 642, 651

  Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
Model 907 with engine 642, 651  
2 Release electrical connector (l) and disconnect.    
3 Disconnect the fuel lines (2, 3).   AR47.25-D-4100-01TS

NOTES
Catch fuel running out with suitable vessel. Damage will otherwise occur.
IMPORTANT Seal the fuel lines (2, 3).

4 Disconnect the fuel line (4). Model 907 with engine 642, 651
with code H11 (Auxiliary hot-air heater)

with code HZ9 (Heater booster)

with code KL1 (Sender uni (fuel) for auxiliary heater)

IMPORTANT To do this, actuate lock (5).
IMPORTANT Seal the fuel line (4).
IMPORTANTCommercially available tools

5 Remove bracket (14). Model 907 with engine 642, 651
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check bracket (14) for damage.
If damage is present:

Install new bracket (14).
 
CLEAN Clean     
6 Clean surrounding area of locking ring (6) at fuel pump (8) and fuel tank. Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
7 Release locking ring (6). IMPORTANT To do this, position ® claw wrench on cutouts (7) and turn locking ring (6) counterclockwise.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that locking ring (6) is locked correctly (Picture B).

8 Remove fuel pump (8). INSTALLATION NOTES
Do not apply any lubricant to sealing ring (9). Otherwise, leaks may occur.
IMPORTANT Fill level sensor is fastened to the fuel pump (8).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new sealing ring (9).
Observe installation position of the catch (10).
 
9 Remove fuel lines (2, 3). If new fuel lines (2, 3) are installed.
IMPORTANT
To do this, unclip fuel lines (2, 3) from the fuel tank.
IMPORTANT Model 907 with engine 642, 651
To do this, unclip fuel lines (2, 3) from retaining clamps (12).
 
10 Remove fuel line (4). Model 907 with engine 642, 651
with code H11 (Auxiliary hot-air heater)
Model 907 with engine 642, 651
with code H12 (Auxiliary hot-water heater)
Model 907 with engine 642, 651
with code HZ9 (Heater booster)
Model 907 with engine 642, 651
with code KL1 (Sender uni (fuel) for auxiliary heater)

If a new fuel line (4) is installed.
IMPORTANT To do this, unclip fuel line (4) from retaining clamps (13) and fuel tank.
 
11 Remove electrical wiring harness (11). If new electrical wiring harness (11) is installed.
IMPORTANT Model 907 with engine 642, 651
To do this, unclip electrical wiring harness (11) from retaining clamps (12).
IMPORTANT Model 910
To do this, unclip electrical wiring harness (11) from fuel tank.
 
CLEAN Clean     
12 Clean sealing surfaces at fuel pump (8) and fuel tank. IMPORTANT For this purpose, use lint-free rags.  
13 Install in the reverse order.
