Code 67 - Neutral Switch-A/C Input
NOTE:
On manual transaxle models, begin with step 1). On automatic transaxle models, begin at step 3).
- Turn A/C off (if equipped). Shift transaxle into Neutral and release clutch. With ignition turned off, disconnect ECA connector J1 and measure resistance between pins 1 and 12. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, proceed to step 5). If not, proceed to step 2).
- Locate the gear switch (on transaxle) and the clutch switch (under dash). Disconnect wiring harness from both switches. Measure resistance across each switch. If both switches read 5 ohms or less, correct open circuit in wiring harness (Dk Grn/Wht wire and Blk/Wht wire). If not, replace defective switch, reconnect and retest.
- Turn A/C off (if equipped). Shift transaxle into "N" or "P". Turn ignition on. With ECA connected, measure voltage between ECA connector J1 pin 1 and ground. If voltage is less than 0.5-volts, proceed to step 5). If voltage is more than 0.5-volts, proceed to step 4).
- Locate neutral/drive switch on transaxle. Disconnect wiring harness from switch and measure resistance across switch. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, correct open circuit in wiring harness (Dk. Grn/ Wht wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace switch.
- Turn ignition key on and A/C off. With ECA connected, measure voltage between ECA connector J1 pin 2 and ground. If reading is greater than 1 volt, correct short to power circuit in Blk/Yel wire. If voltage is 1 volt or less, replace processor.
