Fuel Injectors

  1. Using stethoscope, listen for normal clicking sound at each injector during idle and acceleration. If clicking sound is not heard, remove electrical connector from injector.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between injector terminals. See FUEL INJECTOR RESISTANCE  table. Replace injector if resistance is not within specifications. If injector resistance is okay, check for 12 volts at each injector connector. Repair or replace connector as necessary.
