Fuel Pump Circuit

  1. Turn ignition on. Connect jumper wire between fuel pump test connector terminal and ground. Fuel pump test connector is located at right rear of engine compartment. See Figure . Turn on ignition to activate fuel pump.
  2. Listen for fuel pump sound. If there is no sound, inspect main fuse, inertia switch (located at left rear corner of luggage compartment), fuel pump relay, fuel pump, and all electrical connections.
