Fuel Pressure Regulator Control (FPRC) Solenoid

  1. Locate FPRC solenoid on cowl panel, next to canister purge solenoid. Unplug FPRC connector. Remove both vacuum lines. Plug one vacuum port. Apply vacuum to remaining port. Replace FPRC solenoid if it does not hold vacuum.
  2. Connect 12-volt power to FPRC terminals. If vacuum drops to zero, FPRC solenoid is okay. Replace FPRC solenoid if vacuum does not drop to zero.
