Engine Controls - Basic Testing: Summary

If no faults were found while performing BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, proceed to G - TEST W/ CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. If no hard codes are found in self-diagnostics, proceed to TESTS W/O CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section for diagnosis by symptom (ROUGH IDLE, NO START, etc.) or diagnostic procedures for intermittent problems.
