Test A: Power Windows Completely Inoperative

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Disconnect the master window regulator control switch connector located on the left front door trim panel. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Measure the voltage on terminal No. 7 (Light Green/Yellow wire) at the master window regulator control switch connector. See Fig 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? If yes, then go to next step. If not, then repair the Light Green/Yellow wire.
  2. Check the master window regulator control switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. Is the master window regulator control switch OK? If yes, then service the Black wire between the master window regulator control switch and ground. If not, then replace the master window regulator control switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
