Loss Of Power
- Check air intake system.
- Ensure throttle plate and linkage operate properly.
- Check ignition system. See BASIC TESTING - 3.0L article.
- Check fuel delivery system. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
- Check for restricted exhaust system.
- Check engine compression and mechanical condition.
- On M/T models, ensure clutch is operating properly.
- On A/T models, ensure transmission is operating properly.
- Check for dragging brakes.
