Preliminary Checks

Confirm concern. Check the following for possible cause of malfunction:

Malfunctioning switch. See and/or SINGLE POWER WINDOW SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTING .
Open or shorted circuit. Check circuits between master switch and single switch.

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
