Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Using 1/4" flat-blade screwdriver, carefully pry off front door inside handle escutcheon and trim plate. Remove 2 cover caps and door panel screws. Slide flat-blade screwdriver behind each door trim panel retainer and twist to disengage. Disconnect connectors.
  2. Remove 2 front door trim panel bracket bolts and bracket. Remove weatherseal from door frame. Lower door glass to access regulator-to-bottom channel bolts. Remove window glass from door.
  3. Remove 2 door brace bolts and brace. Disconnect power window motor connector. Remove 4 window regulator track bolts (2 at top and 2 at bottom). Remove 3 power window motor attaching bolts. Remove window regulator and motor as an assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
