(1) Repair ABS. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES.
(2) Replace ABS control module.
(3) Repair all DTCs retrieved.
(4) Using scan tool, clear all DTCs. If DTC C1805 is retrieved again, ensure ABS control module and PCM being used are correct for application. Replace PCM and/or ABS control module as necessary. Using scan tool, clear DTCs and perform ABS control module self-test.
(5) Caused by PCM. Using scan tool, perform PCM self-test. For PCM DTC testing procedures, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
(6) Service all other DTCs first. After all other DTC concerns have been repaired, perform TEST G: NO MODULE/NETWORK COMMUNICATION - SCP NETWORK  under SYSTEM TESTS.

(2) Repair wiring in HEADLIGHT SYSTEM as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
(3) Check charging system. See appropriate GENERATORS & REGULATORS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS. If charging system is okay, check POWER AND GROUND CIRCUIT DISTRIBUTION to GEM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
(4) See POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS article for testing procedure.
(5) See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article for testing procedure.
(6) Using scan tool, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform GEM self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace GEM.

(3) Check charging system. See appropriate GENERATORS & REGULATORS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS. If charging system is okay, check POWER AND GROUND DISTRIBUTION circuits to instrument cluster, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
(4) Using WDS or NGS tester, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform instrument cluster self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
(5) See STEERING COLUMN - SWITCHES article for testing procedure.
(6) Replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
(7) Service all other DTCs first. After all other DTC concerns have been repaired, perform TEST G: NO MODULE/NETWORK COMMUNICATION - SCP NETWORK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
