Driver's Door Module: Notes

CAUTION:
Before removal of Driver's Door Module (DDM), module configuration information must be uploaded to Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) tester, New Generation Star (NGS) tester or other compatible scan tool. New DDM must be programmed with this configuration information. See PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. Proper grounding of technician and workplace is essential to prevent damage.
NOTE:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. Vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to learn strategy. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES
