Preliminary Inspections

Visually inspect Idle Air Control (IAC) valve assembly. Check for mechanical faults: loose, leaking, pinched, kinked or otherwise damaged coolant or air hoses and connections. Check for loose fasteners, hose clamps or White smoke from tail pipe. Check for electrical faults: damaged or loose connections. Repair any faults as necessary. If all visual checks are okay, proceed to TESTING .
