Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the bolts and the accelerator splash shield.

  2. Remove the spring and disconnect the accelerator and speed control cables.

  3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the bracket.

  4. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

  5. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the cable retainer.

  6. Remove the nuts.

  7. NOTE: Non-memory pedal shown, memory pedal similar.

  8. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
  9. Remove the accelerator cable retainer.

  10. Pull the cable through the dash panel and remove from the vehicle.
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
