Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The adjustable pedal system must be indexed whenever the brake pedal assembly or the accelerator pedal assembly is serviced. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT .
  2. Remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.

  3. Disconnect the adjustable drive cable from the brake pedal

  4. Disconnect the drive motor electrical connector.

  5. Remove the two nuts and the accelerator pedal and shaft.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Index the adjustable pedals.
