Removal and Installation
- Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING
.
- Disconnect the accelerator cable at the throttle body.
- Squeeze the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the bracket.

- Disconnect the speed control cable at the throttle body.
- Disconnect the speed control cable from the accelerator cable bracket.
- Disconnect the throttle control return spring.
- Remove the 2 accelerator cable bracket bolts and the bracket.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
