ABS MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) LIST

DTC Description Source Perform Test
B1342 ECU is Faulted ABS Module CLEAR the DTCs. RETRIEVE the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . REPEAT the self-test.
B1596 Service Continuous Codes ABS Module
NOTE: If other DTCs are present, REPAIR them before installing a new component.
CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition switch. RETRIEVE the DTCs. If only DTC B1596 is present, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . REPEAT the self-test.
B1676 Battery Pack Voltage Out of Range ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test A .
B2477 Module Configuration Failure ABS Module CONFIGURE the ABS module using As-Built Data and correct tire size. REFER to Programmable Module Installation in MODULE CONFIGURATION article. CLEAR the DTCs. RETRIEVE the DTCs and VERIFY successful module configuration. If DTC B2477 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . REPEAT the self-test.
B2900 VIN Mismatched ABS Module VERIFY that the ABS module and the PCM have the correct as-built data. REFER to Programmable Module Installation in MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
C1145 Wheel Speed Sensor RF Input Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test B .
C1155 Wheel Speed Sensor LF Input Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test B .
C1165 Wheel Speed Sensor RR Input Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test B .
C1175 Wheel Speed Sensor LR Input Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test B .
C1222 Wheel Speed Sensor Mismatch ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test C .
C1266 ABS Valve Power Relay Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test D .
C1278 Steering Wheel Angle 1 and 2 Signal Faulted ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test H .
C1279 Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test I .
C1280 Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Fault ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test I .

DISREGARD this DTC. REPAIR all other DTCs retrieved.
C1440 Pressure Transducer Main/Primary Signal Faulted ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test J .
C1446 BOO Plausibility Fault(s) ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test K .
C1484 BOO Electrical Fault ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test K .
C1560 Service Continuous Codes ABS Module
NOTE: This DTC is for component supplier use only. The presence of this code will have no effect on the vehicle and does not indicate a fault with the vehicle.
DISREGARD this DTC. REPAIR all other DTCs retrieved.
C1805 Mismatched PCM and/or ABS/TC Module ABS Module CHECK the part numbers. INSTALL the correct module. REFER to ELECTRONIC ENGINE CONTROLS article for the PCM or Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . VERIFY correct module and tire size configuration.
C1956 Steering Angle Sensor Circuit Failure ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test H .
C1963 Stability Control Inhibit Warning ABS Module
NOTE: REPAIR all other non-communication DTCs prior to diagnosing this DTC.
INSPECT the steering wheel rotation sensor for damage and correct installation. CORRECT the installation or INSTALL new as necessary. REFER to Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.If the sensor is installed correctly, CALIBRATE the ABS module for the steering wheel rotation sensor. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
C1975 IVD Plausibility Failure ABS Module
NOTE: REPAIR all other non-communication DTCs prior to diagnosing this DTC.
INSPECT the stability control sensor cluster mounting surface for damage and foreign material. REPAIR or CLEAN as necessary. INSPECT the stability control sensor cluster for correct installation. CORRECT the installation or INSTALL new as necessary. REFER to Stability Control Sensor Cluster .If the sensor cluster is installed correctly and the mounting surface is clean, CALIBRATE the ABS module for the stability control sensor cluster. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.INSPECT the steering wheel rotation sensor for damage and correct installation. CORRECT the installation or INSTALL new as necessary. REFER to Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor .If the sensor is installed correctly, CALIBRATE the ABS module for the steering wheel rotation sensor. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
U0073 Control Module Communication Bus A Off ABS Module REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose the no communication concern.
U0074 Control Module Communication Bus B Off ABS Module Go to Pinpoint Test I .
U0100 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM ABS Module REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose the no communication concern.
U0155 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module ABS Module REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose the no communication concern.
U0102 Lost Communication With Transfer Case Control Module ABS Module REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose the no communication concern.
U2023 Fault Received From External Node ABS Module If any other DTCs are present, DIAGNOSE those first. CLEAR all DTCs. DRIVE the vehicle. If the DTC is still present, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module .
U2050 No Application Present ABS Module CONFIGURE the ABS module. REFER to Programmable Module Installation in MODULE CONFIGURATION article. CLEAR the DTCs. RETRIEVE the DTCs and VERIFY successful module configuration. If DTC U2050 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
