Continuous Memory Codes

To ensure proper continuous memory codes diagnosis, first perform the following steps and/procedures:
- See: PREPARATION .
- See: EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP .
- See: KEY ON/ENGINE OFF SELF-TEST .
- See: TIMING CHECK .
- See: ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST .
These must first be successfully completed. If both KEY ON/ENGINE OFF and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST display code 11 (Pass), go to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES heading below.
If not, return to PREPARATION step and make the necessary repairs indicated in KEY ON/ENGINE OFF and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST before going to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES.
