Fuel Pump Circuit
When the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position, the EEC relay closes and supplies current to the fuel pump relay coil. Closing of the fuel pump relay contact completes the circuit to the fuel pumps and a timing device in the EEC module.
If the engine is not started,the EEC will open the fuel pump circuit after one second. This provides for pre-pressurization of the fuel system. The fuel pump circuit is protected by a 15-amp fuse located under the circuit protection panel. See Fig 1
