Fuel Pump Relay
- Remove fuel pump relay. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals No. 85 and 86. If the meter reads more or less than 85 ohms, replace the relay.
- Connect a jumper wire from the alternator output terminal to relay terminal No. 86 and another jumper wire from relay terminal No. 85 to chassis ground. When the ground connection is made, relay should click and an ohmmeter should show continuity between relay terminals No. 85 and 30. If relay does not show continuity, it must be replaced relay.
