Continuous Memory Codes

  1. To ensure proper diagnosis of continuous memory codes, PREPARATION  , EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP  , KEY ON/ENGINE OFF SELF-TEST  , TIMING CHECK  , and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST  must be successfully completed. If both KEY ON/ENGINE OFF  and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST  display code 11 (Pass), go to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES  .
  2. If code 11 is not present, return to PREPARATION  step and make the necessary repairs indicated in KEY ON/ENGINE OFF  and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST  before going to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES  .
