The Body Shell: Notes

The Body Shell is constructed of sheet steel parts, reinforced by box sectioned longitudinal members and cross beams. Three major sub assemblies come together to produce the one piece floor frame, the front end, main floor and rear end.

The following components add to the structural rigidity.

• Cross members
• Front Wheelhouse
• Side Frame and Pillars
• Roof
