TOOL RENTAL PROGRAM

TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN

INFORMATION

We are pleased to announce the MINI Tool Rental Program. The new MINI Tool Rental Program includes the 2 High Voltage tools below. More tools fitting the high-expense, low-usage category will be added in the future. Thank you for your input.

Only properly trained personnel, who have passed all applicable technical training courses, should perform any maintenance or repairs on any Hybrid or Electric Vehicle. Work performed by unqualified persons may result in severe personal injury or damage to the vehicle.

1. EOS test unit
2. Main Power cable
3. Pressure adapter - green
4. Pressure adapter - blue
5. EOS to high-voltage battery harness
6. Communication interface harness
7. HV battery communication interface box (2)
8. Protective case with wheels and extendable handle

• NOTE: - always observe the proper adapter and harness storage. Damage to the screen and board will result if not properly stored. Only the owner's manual is to be stored in the pocket. Refer to illustration GRUSB0414-13 for proper storage. Damage due to improper storage will be the sole responsibility of the renting dealer. Dealer will be billed full, current dealer net (per latest Atlas pricing) for damaged or not-returned tools.

TOOL RENTAL INFORMATION

• Tool Rental Program is administered through Bosch Automotive Service Solutions. Do not contact the BMW Parts department.
• Normal rental period is 7 business days.
• Extending the time period may be done by contacting Bosch @ smsrepair@us.bosch.com 
• Return shipping form included in the package
• Special note must be taken of the above EOS closing instructions. Breaking the screen will be the responsibility of the Renting dealer in full. Dealer will be billed full current dealer net (per latest Atlas pricing) for damaged tools or tools that are not-returned.
• By renting this equipment, dealer agrees that only qualified trained personnel will utilize this equipment.
• Normal shipping is via second day carriers. There is no extra charge for second day shipment.
• Overnight shipping is available at an extra cost. Consult the order form for overnight cost.
• Shipping problems must be brought to the attention of Bosch Automotive Service Solutions @ smsrepair@us.bosch.com  .
• Please enter a Puma case for technical issues.

TOOL RENTAL PROCESS

• Fill out the attached form. All fields must be filled out.
• Have the form signed by someone with authority to allocate payment.
• Scan and email the completed and signed form to smsrepair@us.bosch.com .
• A Bosch Automotive Service Solutions representative will contact the person on the form to verify order and payment details.
• Order to ship will be placed.
