- Achieves crash safety requirements with respect to front, rear and side impacts.
- Body torsional rigidity of 27,000 Nm per degree. (Compare this to 10,500 Nm per degree for the E46 Convertible and 7,500 Nm/degree for the E36 Convertible.)
