The Body Shell: Hood: Notes

The Hood on MINI COOPER is of a conventional hinged type, supported at both sides by a gas strut. The hood is mounted on two adjustable hinges, which are secured to the main body A post panel (two Torx screws, per hinge) and the hood (two Torx screws, per hinge). The two gas struts limit hood open travel.
