The MRS5 system consists the following components:
- MRS5 control unit
- Crash sensors - "b" pillar (x 2)
- Crash sensors - up front (x 2)
- Door pressure sensors (x 2)
- MRS warning lamp (in IKE)
- Slip ring
- Passenger seat occupancy detector (OC-3)
- Seat belt switches
- Driver's airbag module
- Front passenger's airbag module
- Driver's side (thorax) airbag module
- Front passenger's side (thorax) airbag module
- Advanced head protection system (AHPS2) airbag - right hand
- Advanced head protection system (AHPS2) airbag - left hand
- Driver's seat belt pre-tensioner
- Front passenger's seat belt pre-tensioner
- Battery Safety Terminal
