Fuel Pump
- Connect jumper wires between fuel pump check connector and ground. Check to ensure that operating sound of fuel pump can be heard. If no operating sound can be heard, check for defective wiring, connector, etc.
- If connector and wiring are normal, disconnect fuel pump connector at pump and energize the pump. If pump still fails to operate, replace.
NOTE:
Some vehicles have a single lead fuel pump check connector. On these vehicles the lead is connected to battery positive.
