Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Disconnect TPS connector. Connect a digital voltmeter between terminals No. 2 and 3. See Fig 1 . Ensure voltage output matches specifications in FBC System Check Procedures Chart. See Figure . If voltage readings are improper adjust TPS by loosening 2 TABLE screws and rotating TPS. See Fig 2 . If adjusting will not provide proper voltage, replace TPS.
