Using Multi-Use Tester

  1. Turn ignition off.
  2. Connect power source terminal of multi-use tester to cigarette lighter socket.
  3. Connect multi-use tester to diagnosis connector. See Fig 1 .

  4. Turn ignition on.
  5. Using multi-use tester, read out and record self-diagnosis output.
  6. Refer to diagnosis chart, and repair the indicated location of malfunction. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  .
  7. Erase malfunction code. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  .
